I open up the window to the world to our small wineries.
We are talking about six families that started generations ago with the cultivation of vines. We are on the northeast corner from Spain, in Catalunya and Aragon. While each of the families focus on the crucial work at the vineyards, I look after the strategy of how to make the wines better.
Our productions are very small. The wines are unique. They are made out of basically local autochthonal grape varieties.
Each vintage is a new pleasant surprise, but there is a line that guarantees continuity and keep us moving on the same right track.
DO CAMPO DE BORJA
Family Frago at Bodega Picos in the D.O Campo de Borja.
Wines from Campo de Borja where the variety Garnacha is the main grape. Juicy, rounded, elegant and well balanced wines from the kingdom of Garnachas.
Family Fabregas at Bodegas Fabregas in D.O Somontano.
Wines from Somontano with this unique minor indigenous grape variety called Moristel.
Family Pairò at Pere Guardiola in the D.O Empordà. Wines from Empordà.
Big and tannic Mediterranean reds. Outstanding long life.
Family Pons at Cava Miquel Pons in the D.O (Cava).
Our Cava has a natural degorgment with no icing of the neck. This makes us different and unique.
Six families from Poboleda owning that small treasure in the unique worldwide known Priorat.
Rich and full bodied unfiltered red wines also out of vines planted in steep slopes.
DO TERRA ALTA
Elias Gil has build this impressive winery where the five different types of Garnatxa make the difference, including the unique Garnatxa Alta.
The wines are aged only in 5.000 litre cute fudres which makes them different, fine and delicate.
